25 years young Englishman that has just finished a year living up and down the east coast of Australia. During this time I lived in 3 cities and worked in more rural areas making wine during the grape vintage, I made friends with people from just about every corner of the world. I have a big passion for all thing out doors like hiking and camping or mountain biking, Im on a roll to see as much of the world as I can before routine somewhat sets in. ( I don't want perpetual routine. Yet!)

I studied film and television for 5 years throughout college and university and with this came small contracts for local television companies in the UK and plenty of work in various projects helping friends expand there own business. Photography as of late has been my main passion.

Id say my friends would describe me as easy going, a good sense of humour and a warm character to be around.

I originally heard of couch surfing while I was eating lunch one day in my home city of Lincoln. I met a man called James from Sydney Australia and he told me of his exploits of cycling to every major city in the UK and to provide himself with shelter and meet great friends along the way he used couch surfing.

I thought this concept was fantastic when I first heard of it in 2017. I am only now getting around to verifying my account a couple of years later. I would love to meet like minded individuals or just someone that is the polar opposite to me, throughout my whole life ive always been the one to approach someone new and say hello. I have always found joy in other individuals and there story and culture.

My favourite kind of music varies greatly, from bands like Tame impala, Foals and Sticky Fingers to visiting Download festival with like minded metal head friends. I also love to indulge in some old school rap and hip hop.

Id say my film choice is influenced by guys like Quentin tarantino and Martin Scorsese. Shutter island, The wolf of wall street, Django unchained and Pulp fiction to name a few. I also enjoy any film you can throw at me with James franco, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and Michael Cera.

Im trying to improve the amount I read as its never really been a passion of mine but when I do read i'm usually stuck in to a good autobiography learning about someone elses acension to happiness or "success" which to me will always be subjective to what an individual defines success as anyway!

I would say one amazing thing i've done is overcome my anxiety surrounding travel and leaving the place I was born and raised to live in Australia and coming out the other side with a completely refreshed mindset and positive attitude to life in general.

I think I can bring to hosts exactly what Id offer in return, a welcoming temporary environment to someone that is genuine as the host expects. A great sense of humour and a largely open mind to talk about anything and everything. Im also a little bit of a clean freak when it comes to living quarters, despite the big scruffy bearded appearance! lol.
