About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I currently travel a lot to see my friends that are scattered all over the country, and I like to take the opportunity to meet to people along the way.
ABOUT ME
I am optimistic, passionate, and biodegradable. I prefer whiskey to wine, stairs to the elevator, and variety to the norm.
I grew up in a small town, building catapults and getting lost in novels. It was the perfect place for me then, but I'm now drawn to larger cities. I seek out the unexpected chaoses in them, and life in general.
I'm a former rock climbing instructor, sky diver, and R&D Electrical Engineer (robots and satellites) who left my job a year ago and moved to Nashville for graduate school.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy exploring, and sharing new experiences with people I can relate to. I've been to 49 states, just returned from Chile, and am planning a trip to Romania. I like to hop the metro from one bohemian area to the next, and finish the night off to jazz and a mixed drink, or dancing and many.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed and hosted a few times, and am looking forward to meeting more interesting people.
Interests
I'm a huge fan of whiskey, dancing, comedy clubs, and anything new. That includes new places, ideas, and people.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the opening ceremony at the Viena opera house in Italy was was something I'll never forget. It's a several-hundred year old open air stadium (similar to Rome's Coliseum). Everyone get's a candle as you walk in. After it gets dark, the candles start lighting one by one until each are glowing. Imagine watching 10,000 candles being held by the entire crowd. It was pretty fantastic.
