Music, Movies, and Books

Music

I 'm all about EDM music. Old school favorites that got me hooked are ATB, Paul Oakenfold, and of course Tiesto. Other DJ's I like are David Guetta, Kygo, Eric Prydz, ODEZA, Calvin Harris, Afrojack, The Chainsmokers, Major Lazer, Deadmau5, Hardwell and many more.

Also a huge fan of Linkin Park, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, 311, Snoop Dog, Eminem, Atmosphere and Muse.

Other top bands/singers are Gorillaz, Common, John Newman, Sam Smith, Robin Thicke, The xx, Jason Derulo, The Rolling Stones, Hozier, Ed Sheeran, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, BoB, T.I., Lupe Fiasco, Weezer, Imagine Dragons, 3 Doors Down, Bobby Valentino, Usher, Fitz and the Tantrums, John Legend, The Weeknd, Sam Hunt, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryant, Florida Georgia Line and Blake Shelton.

So basically I really enjoy dance EDM music, but can get down with pretty much just a little bit of everything else.

Movies/TV

Also a huge movie fan, anime fan (Dragon Ball Z is still one of the best!), and can also get down with binge watching some great TV Shows.

Hands down one of my favorite movies is The Shawshank Redemption, such a powerful story to watch... Also love Fight Club, The Matrix Trilogy, Bad Boys, The Lion King, Avatar, Die Hard, Rambo, Terminator, The Devils Advocate, Training Day, X-Men Movies, Avengers and pretty much all Marvel and DC action hero type movies, Iron Man, Captain America, Batman, Superman, etc.

So main theme for movies, is action/adventure, explosions are always welcome, but I also enjoy a nice thriller/emotional roller coaster type of movie. Back in the day used to be really in Japanese Horror flicks.

I kind of a huge anime fan, old school Dragon Ball Z, the new Dragon Ball Super, Bleach, Inuyasha, Naruto, Fate/Stay Night, and Gundam series are some of the best, but I have watch tons of other shows that had limited runs of one or two seasons, that were still amazing.

Regular TV shows would cover my favorites like Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Fringe, Lost, Continuum, Arrow, The Flash, House of Cards, Seinfeld, Friends, The Office, and The Walking Dead.

Video Games

While this section doesn't say that in the header, I probably spend just as much time watching anime as I do playing video games on the weekends when I have the time. Some top series and games are Final Fantasy, Call of Duty, Halo, Star Ocean, Dynasty Warriors, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, League of Legends, Starcraft, Diablo, Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, and Marvel Heroes.

Books

To this day Ender's Game still remains as one of my favorite books; I eventually read the following books in his story, but the first one was the best by Orson Scott Card. The Harry Potter books will always hold a special place in my heart, only books I've ever been able to read through in less than a week! Airframe, Angels and Demons, Timeline, A Brave New World, 1984, and Fahrenheit 451 are also some memorable reads!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After finishing my first year of college, I went on a 3 month back-packing trip with one of my best friends through Europe. We visited 9 countries: Germany, Denmark, Sweden, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Croatia, in the following 16 cities: Munich, Hamburg, Coppenhagen, Stockholm, Paris, Madrid, Salamanca, Sevilla, Barcelona, Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Venice, Amsterdam, Geneva, and Makarska.

My friend's aunt lives in Munich and I was able to stay in the city for over 2 week for free which was amazing! We got a Eurail pass to accomodate train travel for about a month. We didn't really plan too much, which made the trip even more exciting. Basically, we mapped out one or two places and once we got to a new city, would get setup in hostels, walk around and explore, and just find an internet cafe or use a computer if hostels had one and planned our next moves day by day.

Even more amazing, my friend's aunt had a summer apartment in Markaska, Croatia, so for the final half of my trip or almost 45 days we just chilled in this apartment, went to beach, went on runs and walks through the amazing mountain and coastlines, and at night partied it up in the bars and clubs of this awesome sea-side city!

Teach, Learn, Share

At this point in time in my life, I've found my passion in Digital Marketing, specifically in the field of Paid Search/Display Advertising. If anyone has a business of their own, or even curious about how to promote a business product or service online, I am always up for a chat about it!
