About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have fun and see as much of the world as possible!

ABOUT ME

My hubby and I are still living in our family home, but the kids are grown and have moved out. Our daughter is a flight attendant and our son is married. The nest feels pretty empty right now!

We are fun, easy-going people who love to laugh and we have hosted foreign exchange students for many years because we enjoy meeting people from other countries.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short...enjoy it while you can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch-surfed for the first time in July 2008 in Nuremberg, Germany. It was very nice to meet new people.

Interests

I enjoy quilting, gardening, walking our dog, and getting together with our children and grandchildren. My hubby enjoys jokes and tilting back a few brews!

Music, Movies, and Books

We enjoy most types of music, and I especially like Celtic music and rock N' roll from the '60s and '70s.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done in my life is that I have beaten pancreatic cancer. Yippee!!!

I recently returned from a trip to Germany and France and saw so many wonderful things! However, the most amazing things I have ever seen are the smiles on my grandsons' faces when they discover something new.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
