About Me

I have been living in San Francisco for a couple years and love the city. There are so many things to do in here, and I am interested in meeting new people and doing as many new things as possible, while still enjoying some of the more common attractions with guests.

I am in law school and working at an internship but I usually have a loose schedule and will be happy to set guests up with activities and friends if I have other obligations that come up.

I have two married roommates who speak Japanese and are quiet but a lot of fun. They have their own bathroom and guests will share the main one with me. Besides going out, we like playing card games, board games, video games, and watching TV.

I able to host all weekdays until June 5 2017, but after that I am starting an internship and will only be able to host on weekend nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) for a few months. I will update my availability after that ends to reflect my school schedule.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and learning about other cultures. I stayed in and Airbnb with a couchsurfing host in Mexico before learning about the platform, and she helped me meet a lot of interesting people and have an amazing time while I was there. Since I can't always afford to travel I'd like to have some people visit San Francisco so I can share this awesome city and learn more about other people, cultures, and places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most types of music and love going to concerts. There is usually free live music at some place or other every night in San Francisco, but I am happy to pay for a concert ticket to see good music if you know of an artist that is playing nearby. I especially like learning about new or popular music from other cultures.

I like comedies, documentaries and action movies but I usually only watch movies if I'm feeling tired or lazy.

Mainly I read a lot of philosophy but I also like fictional books by authors like Kurt Vonnegut, Don Delillo, Brett Easton Ellis, and Chuck Palahniuk. I am currently reading the "Dune" science fiction series by Frank Herbert.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live a block away from Golden Gate Park and my apartment has convenient access to a train downtown/out to the beach and buses that go all over the rest of the city. I know where all the main tourist attractions in the city are and I am happy to show them to you. Also, I can show you more of the local scene here in San Francisco as I frequent a lot of different bars, restaurants, and concert venues that most tourists don't get to see when they come visit.

I have made a great group of friends here, and everyone I know loves meeting new people, so I'd be happy to introduce you to some fun people to hang out with.
