About Me

Californian born writer with a passion for all things spirits, coffee, gastronomy, travel, and entertainment. I have a particular love for food and the culture that surrounds it. I spend most of my free time cooking with friends, family, and exploring the restaurant/foodie scene in large cities. After my recent stay in New York City, I realized there is so much more of the world to see, and now I'm trying to experience that dream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've yearned to travel since I was a young child, and I've been fortunate enough to save money to live this dream. I hope to meet some amazing new friends that will help me discover this beautiful world we live in while being able to share with a mass audience some of the best destinations for travelers, foodies, and adventurers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in New York City completely changed my life and reassured that I need to continue to explore the vast world. It changed my perspective on what's truly important to me and has encouraged me to pursue a life of travel, food, and writing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've worked in hospitality and restaurant service for 10 years, and as a result, I've learned about some of the best restaurants, street food, farmer's markets, and cafes from around the world. As a writer, publisher, and journalism student, I've developed a voice in my writing style that can help many discover their own voice when it comes to writing. If any fellow travelers, hosts or individuals are looking to start a blog, or expand an existing blog, I'd be more than happy to offer my services. Additionally, I can offer tons of wonderful recommendations for places to stay in the United States, including some of the best sights, restaurants, and cafes to visit in major cities like New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a naturally curious individual and I love to learn new and exciting things about the world, especially when it comes to history, culture, and most importantly, food! I want to share my love for learning, traveling, and food with my hosts in hopes that we can discover new places to see together. Additionally, being fortunate enough to be raised by a Southern (Texan) mother, I was raised to be incredibly respectful, courteous, and thankful. As a result, I want to try and leave my host with a wonderful experience, so we can continue to share great experiences in the future.
