About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I LIKE PIE

ABOUT ME

Philosophical, witty, sports fan, reader, writer, traveler, loves to learn! I volunteer teach math to people trying to get their GED--the students rock. I have an electronic music album I've put out. And I co-wrote a novel quite a while ago with a friend of mine. So the verdict is I like to dabble in different things--jack of all trades, master of none?

PHILOSOPHY

Empathy. Balance. Loyalty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just found out about this site a few weeks ago. I'm hoping to make use of it while on my 2-month voyage, then return the favor to surfers when I get back. Looks like my hometown G'ville has great folks already doing this!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not through this site yet, but I've certainly surfed some couches in my life.

Interests

Ideas, Truth, and Art are 3 major ones. Love to hang with friends at a bar, watch (and debate) or play sports, hike whilst cursing the gods above, TAKE LONG DRIVES, play Worms (best multi-player game ever?), or read a great book/article. William James is THE MAN.

3) Last year toured the baseball/hoops/football halls of fame and various museums in DC.

Teach, Learn, Share

Reception. Observation. Perception. Emotion.

Those are 4 principles I've mentioned on my personal site as the main ways we discover truth. Best to use all of them in balance.

Guess I could also teach anything related to website development, since that's my job =]
