Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
im not leaving Europe without that damn holy grail thing - taking it home and putting it in my freezer
ABOUT ME
I am a bit of a storyteller who likes to keep the dialogue going. The best part of the places i have been are the characters I have met along the way. I could be described as socialite who likes to keep a broad group of friends from all ages and all walks of life. I can find humor in just about anything which keeps it all lively and interesting. I try to learn as much as I can but maintain a steady, sometimes brilliantly ridiculous opinion about everything under the sun.
PHILOSOPHY
my philosophy is all about living without fear or a script...giving passion a slight edge over reason and surrounding myself with good people...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My goal is to meet great people, help out/cook southern food for all/drink and explore the city, ultimately stealing all that is great about one culture and claiming as my own.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Im quite fond of couches though and I come from a family of world class surfers.
Interests
I like to make music, socialize, travel, and dabble in a bit of everything. Ive spent the last 6 years in Utah working as a psychologist with kids in an adventure wilderness program. Im currently writing a book infused with philosophical and psychological themes, mostly character driven. Ive got a ton of creative energy and like to spend time with people who are trying to do big things. Other interests include sports, poker, family stuff, most adrenaline activities and guitar.

Music, Movies, and Books
Acoustic/grunge/punk/r&b. Ive gotten to the stage where i feel like I've seen so many movies I could somehow create a movie pandora... Books are good if I can make myself start one...last one I read was mans search for meaning which was manly and meaningful
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in the Ukraine last year near the Black Sea and felt like I was a different world...definitely want to go back. I could see the artifacts of the past everywhere, which was pretty eye opening. It was one part beauty and one part trauma. I visited an orphanage there with a girl who had lived there for many years after escaping the streets and was surprised to see how many people were still there that remembered her.
Im confident that I could walk the streets of paris and rome endlessly, forget that I was hungry or had a care in the world. For me, its the closest thing to feeling like your on a date with a beautiful/complex girl who is at the very least pretending to be interested. Ive never been to a place where the homeless had better fashion sense than I do or I could buy a fake prada belt fifty feet away from one of the oldest most majestic structures on the planet. Its history, irony and art at your fingertips.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach anything, just give me a few minutes to google it. Im an expert in psychology and all clinical/theoretical aspects of the profession. I don't analyze friends or family so don't ask. Im well versed in philosophy, physiology and medicine. I can play a little guitar and could probably be a world class singer in germany (easy now german people)... I want to learn just about anything but I am particularly open to more dramatic little known facts which can make big waves when I come back to the states...if i come back....
