About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Let go of the ego and let the world in!

ABOUT ME

I am a California Boy. I love the outdoors, surfing, hiking, drinking wine and beer, eating outside, road trips, the ocean, etc.

I work in Hollywood as a content analyst for Netflix.

It's all about having the right attitude! I look at traveling as an adventure, not a vacation. Mishaps are gonna happen in traveling but to me that can be half the fun if you have a good attitude! I love experiencing new culture and always try and find the places where the locals hangout.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in chasing your dreams. You only fail if you quit!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a guest and host. I have had great experiences on CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2013 was my first experience with couchsurfing. I stayed with 4 hosts and they were all amazing. I am in awe of the generosity and enthusiasm people have had so far for meeting new people, sharing their country, and encouraging budget traveling. I feel very humbled by them all.

Interests

I really like the outdoors. I have a 35 pound boxer dog that I like to take on hikes. I also live near the beach in Los Angeles so I like to surf, bike on the boardwalk, or just have a pint in the sun.

I enjoy discussing art and politics. I am very liberal minded.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm a smaller guy (5'8") but I played college football for the #4 team in the nation (Oregon State) in the USA in 2000

Edinburgh. I fell in love with that city.

I have spent two summers in Alaska commercial fishing sockeye salmon.

When I was 14 I did something called "Ride the Rockies" a 500 mile bike ride through the Rocky Mountains (I'm not a big bike guy however)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom
