About Me
CURRENT MISSION
After 2 years living in the USA, we are currently back living in Melbourne until our next adventure.
ABOUT ME
I'm a merchandiser, songwriter, podcaster, skydiver, traveller + dog lover. My partner Andrea + I love visiting small towns in other countries as well as our own, and getting in random adventures.
PHILOSOPHY
Open your eyes, arms + heart. Proceed from there. Every day is a blessing, so make it count in your own way. High five a lot. Brush your tongue. Be kind to strangers. Tip your bartenders. Exercise your dogs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We couchsurfed with many many different people all across the US + Canada since 2014, and we made sure to find hosts that wanted to really engage in the cultural exchange. We've learned a lot + had a lot of laughs, and hopefully made people happy. We will finally be in a position to open up our house to hosting later in 2017 when we return from the US. We cannot wait to give back to the CS community that has given us SO much.

Music, Movies, and Books
Film, I like lots of film, even the odd blockbuster hehe. I like arthouse, biopics, foreign, a good comedy, and I always love a documentary. Music wise... pretty much everything. For example - the last few things in rotation : Emma Ruth Rundle, Primus, Talking Heads, Veruca Salt, Tori Amos, Tom Waits, Laura Veirs, Meshuggah, Faith No More, Howlin' Wolf, Trombone Shorty, Method Man etc etc... As for books, I mostly read biographies and autobiographies, but I can be convinced to get into a good piece of fiction with the right encouragement. Andrea reads Vonnegut, Attwood, Steinbeck, Greene etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Random amazing thing :
Sat on a rock in the water at Cape Mulinu’u - Samoa's western-most point, and watched the last sunset on earth.
Made even more amazing by the fact that since Samoa successfully lobbied to be on the *other* side of the dateline, this is now impossible. Instead, now eastern Samoa is among the first to see the sunrise.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe I can learn from everybody I cross paths with, no exceptions. But mostly people who can challenge my perceptions + get a giggle out of me.
