I cannot currently host, but I am looking for places to surf!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfed before, but I am really interested in doing so. I think it's a great way to meet locals instead of just hitting all of the tourist spots.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an absolute movie nut. Most of my daily conversations include movies quotes and references. Being a girl, I love funny chick flicks, but I also like my action-packed movies. I pretty much like any kind of movie except scary movies. Oh, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy is my favorite pick. My music typically consists of rock (but not crazy stuff) and pop (but not Justin Bieber). As far as books, I like good literature like Hemingway, but I also love a good motivational book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled alone to Kenya for two months by myself. I survived a 20-hour flight, a Turkish airport where no one spoke English, met a lady on a plane and stayed the night at her house in Nairobi before my flight the next morning where I flew in a small propeller plane that felt like it was going to crash. I survived a rough and sometimes scary journey across the world by myself at only 18 years old. I'm pretty proud of that, and I think it was quite the amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a writer so I am fairly good at listening and asking people about their lives. I want to learn anything and everything, especially how to talk to people with differing opinions than mine. I want to share my hopes and dreams and listen to other people's hopes and dreams.
