ABOUT ME

I am a 25 year old union organizer. I grew up in San Francisco and then moved to Oregon for school and got involved in politics up there before coming back after the 08 election. I work a lot as I represent about 750 workers, but in my free time I cook (mostly French or New American dishes) go dancing (Popscene, Beauty Bar, and Q bar are some favorites), ride my bike, and lazy around the house with a movie (noir, Wes Anderson, or silly stuff). My friends would tell you that it might take a while until you get my sarcasm but that I'm kind, loyal, and good for both going on adventures or going to the MOMA and getting tea.

I have been given a lot of opportunities in life so it is my responsibility to change the world to provide those for others.

Im a good guest and pretty easy to get a long with, but ironically I don't own a couch.

Interests

Cooking: I love it. It is one of the things that makes me happiest. I love both DIY projects like making buddah's hand vodka, cheese, or duck confit from scratch, and just cooking up a storm for a date or dinner party.

Dancing: Ive been going out dancing since I was 19 and its something that I couldn't live without. Most of my friends Ive met out on the floor. Dance like no one is watching you.

Debate: I'm really good at debate. I do it for work, I do it for fun, and I do it well. I don't take it that seriously in my personal life but it is always fun.

TV: I love the medium to be honest, especially British shows like The Mighty Boosch, The IT Crowd, Skins, Spy, Whites. American stuff I enjoy: the West Wing, House, House of Lies, The League, Veronica Mars, Californication.

Food: Ill eat anything, especially if its prepared in a traditional or bougie way. I love all different types of food. Picky eaters are one of my biggest turn offs.
