ABOUT ME

Born outside of NOLA, grew up in TN, moved to Yellowstone to work, relocated to Arkansas to study Biology and Outdoor Rec then worked for a year in the Florida Keys as an Out Island Mate for the Boy Scouts of Americas High Adventure Base. Now i'm getting a doctorate of Optometry in Philly.

Love the outdoors, love traveling, love learning about people and culture and love sharing those great moments when you travel and experience somewhere new.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly from surfing with hosts during my various different travels. For the past year I've been pretty localized to the Philly area and hosted a couple surfers and met up with some here and there. But I'm about to be uprooted again and travel around the US and abroad as I finish up my clinical rotations over the next 1.5 years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only positive experiences! Every couchsurfer I've ever had the chance to travel with or surf with has had that "couch surfing" mentality that makes you feel like your a part of a close knit community. Love the concept, great way to travel and really experience the local culture and community!

Interests

Traveling, camping, sailing, scuba diving, fishing, snowboarding, soccer (football), motocross, reading, painting, drawing, experiencing foreign and unique cultures first hand by taking part in everything thats going on where I travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been alone, 8+ miles from the nearest road, and face to face with a grizzly bear, off trail in the middle of no where Yellowstone U.S.A.

Someone who can laugh with anybody, tell a few good stories and cook a mean squirrel stew (thats my TN contribution), and if you need it I'll throw in an eye exam for free!
