About Me

First and foremost, I'm from America. But please don't let that impact your view of me in a negative way. I promise that's my worst quality lol. I've dreamed for a long time of seeing the world, meeting people from different places and cultures, and just broadening my horizons. I've tried too hard for too long to fit in with the societal expectations of my country and have grown weary. My brother and I plan to leave America by any means necessary and realize our dreams of essentially being nomads and citizens of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said in the about me section, I'm ready to start my journey as a citizen of the world and form bonds, relationships, and friendships that I can carry with me for life. I want to have new experiences in different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sherlock Holmes (both the movies and the books), City of Bones, Harry Potter (I know, I know...), really my interests vary depending on what strikes my fancy or what people suggest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel that amazing things are subjective. What seems amazing to me may not seem amazing to another. Even things that seemed amazing to me at the time may not seem that way now. The majority of my most amazing moments were so fleeting and have so many different emotions tied to them that to try to put just one of them into words seems like an exercise in futility. But ask me in person and I will definitely try not to disappoint :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Growing up, my father was and continues to be what you would call a Jack of all trades and a master of none. He has shown my brother and I many things from wood and metal working to hunting and surviving in harsh conditions. For those who wish to learn from us we will share any knowledge we may have freely. And we hope to learn new and better ways of doing some of the things we already know as well as learning new things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very willing to help in any way I can. Whether it be small household chores, or hard manual labor. And as I travel I hope to be able to entertain more and more with my stories and experiences.
