About Me

UX Leader & User Researcher by day, Entrepreneur by night, Dancer by passion. I also do lots of cool things like play ultimate, curl, homebrew, and blog about beer pancakes (beerbatterbreakfast.com).

Usually based in NYC, I'll be travelling throughout the US as a digital nomad until COVID-19 subsides and things start to get back to normal. Specifically, until there are in-person dance classes, rehearsals, and performances in NYC again, as that's my main reason for being there.

I'll mostly be staying in private Airbnbs so I can maintain proper COVID habits, however I'd be happy to meet up with locals as I come through different cities!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love meeting new people and experiencing new things. Because I love the local point of view instead of a curated experience. Because it's the natural way to be - share freely and openly and expect nothing in return.

Music, Movies, and Books

Barenaked Ladies and Queen are always on the top of my list, but my musical interests are wide and varied. I'm generally open to new stuff.

For books, Sex at Dawn and Born to Run are on the must-read list. Other highlights include Drunk Tank Pink, Nudge, and Spent. Generally anything having to do with psychology or design is a hit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most incredible experience I've had so far is becoming a dancer. I didn't start dancing until college, which gives me a unique perspective on the art form, and it's changed my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

That's not really a prompt...
