About Me

I've surfed five continents and hosted people from 5 continents. I've worked for 5 - 6 years in civil engineering when not travelling.

I backpacked from Croatia to Patagonia in 2011/12 and cycled from Ireland to Malaysia in 2012/13. I'm now back on the road in 2015/16. I recently quit my job in Australia to work on a start-up project.

PHILOSOPHY
Bandits ambush others on the road. They get wealth, but they stay still. Lovers keep moving, never the same, not for a second. What makes others grieve they enjoy - Molānā

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope CS creates a big benevolent community for all travellers to feel comfortable and grow with. I participate (or aim to) by networking to spread the love with good travel karma.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I love meeting people with different backgrounds to my own. I find anyone who joins CSing to be naturally trustworthy and openminded, it's the non-couchsurfers I worry about :p

Hacer con dedo

Hitch hiking 3000kms to patagonia on Che Guevara's Ruta 40 over a fun month of adventure with a dutch friend. We went cycling through wineries, hiking the lakes district El Chaten and Torres del Paine, El Bolson with incredible markets and music, seeing penguins and sealions on Peninsula Valdez, Mar Del Plata, Buenos Aires. ... Camping in interesting& unusual places.. hot days and cold days in the same month.. people we met helped us survive :)

- My favourite driver stopped to go fishing for an hour and caught us two trout!

Teach, Learn, Share

Be 'yes man' don't fight it :)

Couch surfing means to be somewhere new, hosting means to be somewhere familiar. The gap in-between is why CS exists.
Culture, knowledge, exercise, adventure, somewhere to sleep, logistics getting around, meeting people. Sharing paths :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories around the world and I'll help fix your bicycle.
