About Me

CURRENT MISSION

learning some medicine and exploring israel

ABOUT ME

pretty laid back kind of guy. Enjoy any kind of sport (basketball, soccer...all the way down to bocci). Good food, good people, good conversations.

Beer over wine, fun over politics, sports over reading, and ice cream over almost everything.

I love traveling and am trying to get that out of my system before I have to work for a living. In the past I've been lucky enough to visit: Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, China, England, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Jamaica, and lately Israel.

PHILOSOPHY

Never thought the day would come where I would define myself by a sentence, but I guess cheesy as it is:
'Treat others as you want to be treated"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just started up and I have to concede at the moment I'm just surfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

Per above: sports, movies, basically any type of music (red hot chili peppers, dispatch, kanye), traveling, meeting new peoples, working on my spanish and lately on a remedial 2 year old understanding of hebrew

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: gattaca, fight club

music: per above

books: it's been awhile as schooling has sucked the desire to read right outta me. Past favorite books/authors were:
Ender's Game, Piers Anthony, and Roald Dahl
Harry Potter was pretty decent too

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hiking mt katahdan in switzerland along the goat path, and literally almost falling off the mountain about three times, once while movie like- sliding down a rock bed and trying to scramble up it to avoid the 200 ft plunge

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess, heaven help me, medicine should be a relative strength as I've been studying it for a bit.

I'm decent at basketball.

Always up for a good talk about sports

Always interested in talking about world events/politics although not sure if it's a friend maker. As long as everybody's openminded I've got no problems.
