About Me
Hey, I'm Bradley, you can call me Brad if you'd like but I really don't care. I grew up in Vancouver most of my life and moved to Toronto 2 years ago to expand my retail business. I love the outdoors: hiking, kayaking, camping, rock climbing, canyoneering, slacklining, are a few of my favorite outdoor activities.
I joined Couchsurfing ages ago, but never did anything with it. I've decided to recently start accepting guests.
- It would be awesome if you rock climbed because it would be great to have a climbing partner to climb with. I have all the gear, just with very limited skill when it comes to lead climbing. Someone teach me please!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and hate living alone, so I thought why not let someone sleep on my big couch? When I travelled in New Zealand and Australia, people were so generous to let me crash on their couch, so I'm just returning the favor. I would also love to discover the city more and if I can do that while showing someone else the city, why not?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a road trip from Vancouver, down the west coast. I stopped in San Francisco for a few nights, then Palm Springs, eventually making it to the Grand Canyon where I hiked down to the Colorado River to river raft the lower portion of the Canyon for 7 days while camping under the stars and doing amazing side hikes through side canyons and turquoise water. After the grand canyon, I head to Vegas for a few nights to recover before heading to Moab, UT where I went off-roading and canyoneering through Blue John Canyon and High Spur slot canyons (Blue John is the same hike that Aron Raltson did from the movie 127 hours where he had to cut off his own arm). After the 2 day cayoneering trip, I stopped in Salt Lake City and Seattle for a night before ending back up in Vancouver. It was the trip of a life time.
- I've done many road trips in the US. I would say I've seen about 2/3's of America's states.
Teach, Learn, Share
Even though I've only been climbing for a year, I can teach you the basics of rock climbing and take you to my favorite outdoor bouldering spot and local gym.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a big "L" shaped couch that can actually sleep 2 comfortably. My kitchen, bathroom/shower, iMac, internet TV/Xbox One/Netflix/HBO, is also yours to use.
I have a 6 month-old puppy that may want to cuddle up to you on the couch so you must be okay with dogs. He's an Alaskan Klee Kai (known as a miniature husky.. he's quite small)
