ABOUT ME

I am adventure crazy and love doing new things. I am a scuba dive master and love the ocean. I am a rescue swimmer with the NSRI - National Sea Rescue Institute so spend a fair amount of time with my crew, either training or on calls to go help people in distress out at sea.

I'm trying to call myself a serious runner but other than that I dont play any sports at the moment but I go to gym at least 4 times a week.

I usually spend time with friends and family on the weekends. My typical weekend would include watching rugby (Go Sharks / Springboks!) and having a braai (BBQ) with my friends.

I was a surfer myself so I am keen to help others see my country in return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couch surfing several times on my travels around Europe and the UK. I absolutely love Couch Surfing as I had some of the greatest experiences and made some really good friends through this site. I recommend it to anyone and everyone that is around to listen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently helped on a call-out with the NSRI where we went to try help a baby hump back whale that was stuck in Cape Town harbour. At one point I was holding onto it's head while our boat reversed to try guide it in the right direction. It was incredible.
P.S.: we got her free!
