Overview
About Me
I’ve been helped so much over the years by couchsurfing folks and friends/acquaintances alike- I'm happy to now be in a position to help others during their travels here in Portland. The world is our classroom, and through travel/hosting, we have the opportunity to learn more about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing and meeting locals while traveling is a more interesting and fun experience than hotel hopping. Having a home base to explore a city saves money for more travel and provides a more enriching travel experience.
Interests
I try to spend much of my time outdoors in the city and surrounding areas: hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, all the outdoor things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time I descended into Yosemite Valley in California's Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Staring up at the stars above Joshua Tree National Park with some of my best friends. Traveling around the massive cities of China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou.)
