Overview
About Me
I'm currently a 4th year music student at The University of Texas in Austin, and am pursuing a career in the music industry via talent buying and marketing. An avid musician of many years, I've had the opportunity to travel to Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Mexico for international jazz festivals, as well as perform shows all across the country with several bands. That being said, I have an intense affinity for travel, and will be heading to Iceland in a few short weeks! I love to play drums, wakeboard, and scuba dive in my free time, and have been able to dive in the Cayman Islands on 2 occasions. My favorite author at the moment is Jon Krakauer, and his novel Into Thin Air has piqued my interests in mountaineering. I'm always on the hunt for the next adventure!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the moment, I'm trying to find a place to stay in Philadelphia during a layover on my way to Indianapolis for the DCI World Championships (I'm a huge band herd). The concept of couchsurfing embodies everything I strive for: travel, exploring new boundaries, and connecting with new people across the world!
