About Me

Traveling the world. Meeting people and making friends in new places.

I am a very laid-back person. I like to "go with the flow" and not take life too seriously. I enjoy peace and quiet as much as I enjoy laughing and having a good conversation.

I prefer things to be clean and organized.

I value experiences over things and would rather make my own opinion of the world based on my own travel experiences then to allow news and other subjective opinions to influence me.

When you roam the world you're always home.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
My favorite books tend to be biographies, health, and history related.

Movies:
Spies Like Us, Fletch, and pretty much any other movie with Chevy Chase in it.

Music:
I've been to a lot of concerts and festivals. Some of my favorite performance I've experienced were by the Rolling Stones, James Brown, Prince, KISS, Paul McCartney, Rage Against the Machine, and Guns n Roses.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sang along, word-for-word with 1.2 million Cubans at a Rolling Stones concert in Havana. Spent the night in a treehouse that was only accessible by zipline in the Laos jungle. Scuba diving in Komodo National Park in Indonesia. Swam amongst the bioluminescent plankton at night surrounded by the limestone karsts of Lan Ha Bay in Vietnam. Powered-hang gliding around northern Oahu. I could go on.

Teach, Learn, Share

Yes, yes, and yes. Three of the most important skills you can learn in life. I try to practice them daily.
