Hey traveler,

I’m Braeden. I spent five years motorcycling around the world, picking up random skills along the way—everything from building cabins and fences to freehanding with a chainsaw. During my travels, I worked on all kinds of hands-on projects and embraced a life of adventure and learning.

Four years ago, I found my way to Estonia and immediately felt at home. The people here are my tribe, and I’ve built a life I love, working at a systainabme startup and immersing myself in the local culture. Estonia has given me a sense of belonging, and I don’t see myself leaving anytime soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and go on adventures as well as help in any way possible. A ear to listen, a different point of view or just someone to help around the house with repairs or projects. I like being a tourist in my own city too.

Interests

I've been playing the guitar for about a year now, finally able to play some songs. Learning more as I go.

I love working with my hands. I've done a lot of carpentry projects, plumbing, brick and mortar and general contracting.

Classic rock, folk and Motown. Since I'm learning the guitar I'm playing Pink Floyd, Cat Stevens, Eddie Vedder, and Bob Dylan. Best songs that speak to me.

Shawshank redemption and interstellar are films ever made. I like films that make you think. A great 1950 film called "Harvey" is amazing, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch hiked Coast to Coast in Canada.

Lived with the natives off the coast of Panama for a few weeks and learned to spear fish.

Stayed in the Amazon alone for a week and ran into a puma.

I'm a jack of all trades and would love to help with anything from unclogging your sink to building a new deck or room. I've done it all and am happy to give my time.
