I was born and raised in the Midwest and had the opportunity to travel internationally at a young age. I have been wanting to plan an extended trip for a long and am finally getting to make it happen!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am backpacking in Southeast Asia and wanted to try different ways of meeting new people abroad!

Interests

I love any type of new experience and making connections with new people wherever I go. I love being active; going to the gym, biking, swimming, yoga, working on learning some martial arts, etc. Listening to music, making art, watching documentaries, and hanging with my cats are also some of my favorite pastimes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can vibe with pretty much any type of music but I love indie, alternative, and R&B the most. I like to read about philosophy and history, dystopian novels and anything by Jane Austen. Nature documentaries, National Geographic shows, and funny tv shows like the office or new girl!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most recent job was as an associate zookeeper (reptile handler and trainer) so getting to train an iguana was incredibly cool!
