I'm usually based in Massachusetts, but now I've just finished living in Amsterdam for the semester, studying Gender and Sexuality. Now I'm embarking on a whirlwind tour of Europe with one of my best friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this whole Couchsurfing thing, but some friends of mine are crazy about it and I'd like to try it out as I travel around europe.

Interests

Feminism, 19th Century literature, coffee (and caffeine in all its wonderful forms) falafel, world travel, photography, horseback riding, and learning Dutch despite its general uselessness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on a plane from Georgia to New York when the quite large grown man sitting behind me realized he managed to smear his own crap all over himself in the bathroom. He then became very angry, as the flight attendant threw paper towels in his direction helplessly. A hazmat team was there to remove the chair when we landed. This might not be a particularly transcendent moment, but it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience, haha.
