About Me

Hello folks! I'm a student, teacher, musician and hitchhiker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I enjoy meeting interesting people and I want to assist brave travellers on the road as much as I can. Since I've joined the community I my experience has been predominantely positive. I had the opportunity to get to know some colourful, twisted characters as well as incredibly inspiring young people and I am thankful that our paths have crossed. When I'm travelling, my goal is to give some of this energy back, cheer you up for a few days or talk you into something ridiculous. I try my best to be possibly self-sufficient, so even if you can't host me, your schedule is packed, but there is that one hour when you can go out for a coffee - then hey, I'm looking forward to that!

Interests

Due to my profession, I am quite into the development of broad variety of music skills and I hope to get better in that field in time. Though I specialize in classical music, I can tell you a thing or two about non-western music traditions or history of the development of popular music - from blues, through ragtime, jazz, rock'n'roll up to electronic beats and progressive rock. Hope you can recommend me something to listen too - I am always looking to broaden my horizons. It's also never a bad idea to share some stories from our travels - I used to hitchhike a lot, so I've seen some wacky stuff (I'm sure you did too). If you are not interested in modern-day politics, it's fine. But if you would like to give me your perspective on what going on in your country or where the civilization is heading as a whole, I'm all ears.
