I see myself as a simple young guy who can be surprised by the complex nuances in his dreams

I enjoy the smiles on peoples faces, feeling the wet grass on my feet in the beginning of a beautiful summer day, to see someone playing an instrument in an intens and passionate way, having total focus and concentration when climbing a route, the sound of chirping crickets, the glow on my face when I come home after a long walk in a winter landscape at nightfall, to listen to what someone really has to say, to play and dance with friends and children, to work on something and notice how the original idea evolves and gets its own story until something is created and can go from then on into other people's lives, feeling the wind in my back, to construct with others, raspberries and icecream, to observe, think and see, the scent of an open fire...

and I like this poem of Rutger Kopland:

Hoe zal ik dit uitleggen, dit waarom
wat wij vinden niet is
wat wij zoeken?

Laten we de tijd laten gaan
waarheen hij wil,

en zie dan hoe weiden hun vee vinden,
wouden hun wild, luchten hun vogels,
