Interests

I love making music, especially playing the guitar. I'm definitely no more than an amateur enthusiast, but years of practice can make up for a lack of talent! I love jamming with others who also don't take it too seriously :)

My greatest passion is freediving: the art of breath-hold diving. In no other discipline have I found such a profound connection to both mind and body. Each breath-hold is a journey to the depths of the ocean as well as to your own innermost being. It is in the ocean where I feel most at home, which is why I have been living mostly on islands around Asia and Central America for the last years.

Almost equal is my love for the mountains. I love hiking, trekking, and snowboarding.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big music fan. My favorite genres are reggae, blues, jazz and folk but nothing beats taking out the guitar and jamming with some good people.

I love reading on subjects such as philosophy, science, and spirituality. My favourite authors are Aldous Huxley and Alan Watts, but in my opinion the greatest pieces literature ever written are The Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and Tao Te Ching.
