About Me

I'm an open-minded person. Always eager to learn new things, see places, meet people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I used CS was in Japan. Although just a short stay, it was an awesome experience and possibly the best of the entire trip.

In 2016 I travelled to Iran and used couchsurfing as a means to see a side of Iran that is otherwise missed. The experience left a deep founding love for Iranian culture and it's people. This trip has been one of the best experiences I ever encountered and would not have been possible without the use couchsurfing and the extraordinary hospitality of the Iranian people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste ranges from artsy folk to hip-hop and in between almost all genres I could think off. Out of the top of my hand: shoegaze, post-rock, electronic music, new-wave, ambient, psych-rock, J-pop, triphop and probably some more.

My top 3 movies: Lost in Translation, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and The Fountain.

Favourite writers: Haruki Murakami and Hunter S. Thompson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stay overnight in a karavanserai in Maranjab desert.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live about an hour away from downtown Tokyo in a 55m2 apartment, together with my girlfriend. We have an extra guestroom so we can offer you a separate room to stay at and a foldable bed suited for two persons.

Couchsurfing for us is a way to meet new people, so we appreciate it if people don't to use our place as a hotel, but instead as an experience.
Therefore, we will most likely only host on days that we are free, most likely sundays and mondays. You are welcome to ask us to stay on other days, but your chances will be a lot smaller.

What else can we offer: a nice conversation, if we have time we might be able to show you around (if that's something you'd like) or just give you some tips on where to go.
