About Me
CURRENT MISSION
There is a first time for everything, even for CS
ABOUT ME
All about me? This is gonna be tight, but here's a shot.
I landed in Brussels In 2008. Ever since I got out of my small home town, into the big city, I've been wanting more. If it were not for the love for my job (yes, it still exists ;-)) I would have started travelling a lot sooner.
I'm a radio reporter. I meet people for a living. I get paid to chitchat about Tony Blair, sun burn, cockroaches, Britney Spears, tattoo's, Brussels, strikes, traffic jams, myself, ... And I recommend it to everyone.
I like music, going to gigs, movies, digital television. If you're up for some running,I'd be happy to join.
PHILOSOPHY
'Say thanks for being human every morning'(M. Franti and Spearhead)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In 2009 I visited Latvia. That was a great first CS-experience. So far I haven't hosted anyone yet. To bad, but my room is just too small. But do contact me if you want a tour guide through Brussels.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met up with some cool CS people in Brussels, introduced to me through friends.
In september 2009 I spent a week in Latvia with 3 different couples. That was my first CS-trip. I'd directly do it all over again.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books? I only read the back. When it comes to reading, I prefer newspapers, magazines and cereal boxes.
Music? @ work: whatever my editor puts in my playlist. @home: everything from Ricky Martin to Strapping Young Lad
Movies? man, since I have digital television and movies on demand, I have seen too many. I can tell you this: Pride and Glory is a nice one. Darkman sucks beyond all imagination.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I tried Aerodium. It kicks ass.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how and where to get the best beers and chocolats when you are in Brussels.
I would like to learn as much as I can. An extra language, a nice place to eat in Rome, how to play the sitar... as long as it's fun.
This is the shareware generation, no? Let's keep doing what we're doing.
Countries I’ve Visited
