Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm finally of age to be solo-travelling, and so I'm naturally throwing myself across the ocean to meet people and immerse myself in that #culture. Couchsurfing seems like a wonderful way to make that a positive, wholesome experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a healthy mix of black and death metal, as well as shoegaze, ambient and IDM. I'm also a huge sucker for female singers such as Kate Bush and Florence + The Machine.

As far as movies and books go, I am 100% a die-hard fantasy fan. Lord of the Rings is my all time favourite, both the book and the movies. I also love Game of Thrones and the Kingkiller Chronicles. I do hope to pick up some more recommendations in my travels!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My enthusiasm for learning Swedish has encouraged a surprising number of my friends to pick it up - in Australia, a country where Swedish is extremely uncommon!

My passion for languages goes both ways, and so I am always keen to help out with learning and mastering English.
I would also be interested in learning whatever I can of your language and culture. Even if it's simple things such as basic conversation or sayings, I will sponge as much as I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My cooking ability often falls flat outside of an industrial kitchen environment, however I am happy to give it a shot just for you.
Lucky for you, I'm also an extreme neat freak, and so I'll always ensure that I don't leave or make any mess (and if I do, it'll be clean before you notice).
I'm also great with animals and pets. If you have a cat or a dog, there's a high chance that we'll become friends very quickly.
