I am a University Student from Kansas City, Missouri, USA. I am studying finance, which I know sounds stuffy and boring, but I just really enjoy taking qualitative information and turning it in to quantitative information so it's easier to analyze, which is all financial modeling truly is. I am also incredibly interested in traveling and have recently gotten my first taste of traveling across the pond in Europe and solo traveling. I spent the month of July in Scotland for an honors College study abroad and now I'm just sort of hopping around southern Germany with no real plans.

Most immediately I'm tired of paying ridiculous amounts for lackluster Hostels. I also want to connect with a community that also wants to connect to other travelers! So, my friend recommended Couchsurfing to me.

Intereses

Besides the things I intend to do for a living, I enjoy the outdoors quite a bit. I love hiking, water skiing, snowboarding, traveling, reading, etc. I also really enjoy Table Tennis. One of my most notable accomplishments in life was when I finally bested my older brother in Table Tennis. Not that I'm amazing at it by any means.

I like pretty much all music. Some of my favorites include: Vulfpeck, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Mac Demarco, Ron Gallo, Kendrick Lamar. Basically I like anything good, and please share your music! I love discovering new artists. I don't do a lot of movie watching, but I do have a few I love: any Wes Anderson film, Kill Bill especially (but really any Quintin Tarantino movie), Into the Wild, and Hector and the search for happiness. As far as books go I mostly read for school right now, but in my free time I tend to try to read classical books, for example right now I am reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I also read finance books in my free time.
