ABOUT ME

Hmm, wow, where to start?? Well, lets start with my most recent adventure... I decided I wanted to move back to Hawaii (from Savannah, GA). So I sold everything I own, packed a few bags, and moved to Hawaii. Now here I am, and I couldn't be happier about it!!!

I'm just getting started with CouchSurfing, so I'll add more to this later.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in both hard work, and devine intervention.
I believe without one, you can't have the other. Everything you want in life takes a certain amount of work... whether it be love, wealth, family, or anything else. But the key is to find that perfect balance between the two. For some it comes easy, for others... not so easy. Just find whatever it is that makes you happy and work to keep it... devine intervention will eventually take over, and then the rest is smooth sailing!! :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to CS, so right now I'm just feeling it out. As I said before, I just moved back to Hawaii and a friend of mine suggested CS as a way to find employment, friends, and functions. So I guess you could say that for the moment I will be reaping the benefits! :) However, once I get settled into my new life, I will be way more active in helping others get started on their next adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've moved my whole life!! I'm an Army B.R.A.T.... which stands for Born Raised And Transfered. So starting over is nothing new to me, in fact, I really enjoy starting over!

Interests

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE to cook!!! I am an aspiring Chef, but I have just recently found this talent and love for cooking... so if you have any good recipes, let me know!! I also love to be outdoors. Moving back to Hawaii made me realize what a slug I had turned into, so whether it be hiking, SUPing, embarrasing myself playing volleyball (which I haven't had the guts to do yet, hehe), or just going to the beach... anything outdoors is good for me!! However, the slug side of me is not dead by ANY means!! I love to relax on the couch with a good movie or some mindless TV (I'm a huge BRAVO fan... I know, I know... but I can't help it!!) But above all, I just like to be social. The more people I know, the more things I have to do that involve social interaction, the happier I am. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm, well I sold everything I own, went against the wished of everyone I know, and moved to Hawaii on my own (with the help of a special friend). I think that is pretty amazing. :)

Lets see, I've hiked to the lava flow on the Big Island, I've seen a shark chase a dolphin out of the water, I've survived 6yrs of St. Patty's day in Savannah without getting arrested, lost, or breaking any bones (however I have sprained my ankles 12 times), I've been to Mardi Gras in NOLA, I've had the pleasure of meeting many many people from different walks of life... oh and I'm sure there is much much more... but I'm looking forward to whats to come!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach... I can teach you how to make one hell of a drink!! LOL, whatever that drink my be, I can teach it to you!!
Learn... I want to be a chef, so if you have any techniques or recipes you'd like to share, I'd love to learn them.
Share... I'll share whatever I have. Whats mine is yours.
