About Me
Hello! I am a sailboat Captain on the South Shore of Lake Superior. I spend most of my time on the water teaching people about sailing and the Apostle Islands. In my free time I love to explore the outdoors, dance and hang out with friends. I have lived in Wisconsin for 8 years but grew up on a tiny lake in Nebraska.
I am open-minded and adventurous person who loves chatting over a cup of tea. I am politically progressive and believe deeply in women's and LGBTQ+ rights and equality, as well as immigrant and refugee rights.

Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up on classic rock and pop music, and still have appreciation of both. Now I mostly listen to folk and indie music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteered at a refugee camp in Athens, Greece. This experience was life changing. I met incredible people from all over the world who had experienced terrible things. I learned so much about different cultures and what it means to be human and a part of this world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love plants and am always eager to go on hikes and see what is growing. I also know a good bit about boats, mechanics, Lake Superior and pottery.
