About Me
One day I might be a teacher (what I actually went to school for) but for now, I'm just enjoying life, seeing the world, and focusing on the simple things- which make me the happiest- sun, sea, music, drinks, food, and good company. I work as an au pair (living with a family and looking after the children) and teach English online which is how I can travel so much. I've done this in Belgium, Australia, and now Italy!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have had amazing experiences traveling to many different countries and the one thing that really makes a place is the people that you meet there. I think life is all about connecting with people and Couchsurfing has allowed me to meet and learn from so many! I love to see a place from a local's perspective and not just be a 'tourist'. Maybe you can teach me some of your language, show me some local food, culture, and history, or just give me some tips and tell me your favourite places to visit! I am open-minded, easy-going, and a great listener so I am sure we will get along! In exchange, I can tell you all about myself, Canada, and many good and bad travel stories! As well as offering a place to stay if you come to visit Italy!
Interests
I would spend my entire day at the beach or by the pool if I could, preferably with a good book, or with music, drinks, and friends. I enjoy hiking and being active in the day and going out at night. I LOVE ALL food, I challenge you to find something I hate haha. Add a bottle of wine or even some gin or tequila and we are set!

Music, Movies, and Books
It is way too hard to pick my favourite music. It really depends on my mood and the setting. Some good (terrible) pop songs to sing and dance along too. Rock (especially 80s rock) that reminds me of my parents and childhood. Or any chill songs to set the right vibe during the day.
Movies....first to mind right now is Pulp Fiction....ask me tomorrow and it will probably be different haha
Books....I usually only read non-fiction, a lot of psychology books and anything I can learn from.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Broke my back after a 3 storey fall off a balcony. My spine is now part titanium.
