About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To epically win at life.

ABOUT ME

My name is Brandon. I'm 21, living in an area of Brooklyn where I constantly fear for my life, and attending college for a BA in Theatre Arts. I act, perform at comedy clubs, write plays, play music, and tweet a hell of a lot. I've lived in Baltimore, New York, and Cork, Ireland.

These self-summary things are really useless. If I could fit everything about me in this little box, then I'd probably be about as interesting as a wet napkin. Wet napkins aren't interesting at all, trust me, I stared at one for three hours one day. Conversation really isn't their strong suit. Also, if I told you everything that there is to know about me here, we'd have nothing to talk about. We'd just sit across the table awkwardly judging each other for our choice of dinner entrees. No one wants that.
I've got a quick wit, huge ambition, and I really just want to experience as much as I can before I kick the bucket. The only true word to describe me: Totally Awesome. See what I did there? I can't be described in one word. I'm too awesome for that.

PHILOSOPHY

Truth be told, I am terrified of death. I don't want to die without having made my mark upon the world. I commit my time and energy dedicating myself to create something that will ensure myself a niche, if even a tiny one, in history. I want to live my life to the fullest and do, instead of just dreaming.

I also would like to find the world's best baguette.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to host surfers or meetup for coffee/a drink/food/frolicking through the park. I currently live in Brooklyn, New York.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a few couches, hosted a few surfers. A lot of laughter and tears were had by all.

Interests

I'm very much into theatre, music, comedy, films, and history. I've got a two man comedy band, and we regularly play comedy clubs in New York City and Maryland. In addition to that, I write folk/pop music. I'm studying theatre, and am a struggling actor/playwright. I'm really hoping to become the next Will Ferrell, so we'll see how that goes. My hair isn't quite as curly as his, so that could prove to be a problem.

I'm a huge history buff. I love particularly American history I love reading about it, watching the History Channel, and visiting/touching any historical things that I can. There is a certain thrill of touching a chair that was once sat on by Abe Lincoln. You know what I'm talking about. One of the greatest experiences of my life was disregarding the "no touching" sign and touching a Viking ship in Norway that was thousands of years old.
