ABOUT ME

I love music, and I make it as often as possible. I LOVE being around people, and sharing what I enjoy with them. I cook, make music, speak in poetry, and sometimes, when the timing is just right, I make everyone around me laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life like a tree. For example, a tree does not stop to confront a problem, it simply grows forward, through and around the problem. Never stops.

Just started my trip across the country, and so I surf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've volunteered on farms and gardens, but the best experience was living in a Memphis Co-op, just hanging out with travellers, enjoying house shows, playing house shows, and eating GREAT food.

Interests

I draw coffee cups, play guitar, and study ontology. Also, I people watch. People watching is not a crime, it's a life choice. Same goes for laughing at nothing at all, and hugging people who are huggable. Almost forgot, pirates are cool. Yar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once meditated for days straight, while playing a mantra like guitar riff, the entire time. I can't explain in words what kind of profound alchemy happens to the mind during this.

The only true statement that ever was, the only thing that everything is saying at all times, and literally the ONLY thing you ever have to remember, is "I am". All things say it with every instance of existence. If you ever get confused or tied up in the details of existence, withdraw to that one simple statement, that you can never fail, and that never fails, "I am". You're saying it in your fingertips, in the form of every cell and particle. You were saying it before your name. You were saying it before your body. You're saying it right now. You're saying it in fractal form.
