About Me

Im a recent college grad who wanted to broaden my horizons on another continent. I have found myself staying in all sorts of communities and different kinds of places. I am a very active person and consider myself athletic having played all sorts of sports growing up. Nowadays surfing, and snowboarding have piqued my interests as well as martial arts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m couch surfing to meet amazing people, I’ve lived in two communities so far here in Europe and what I have picked up from that is that people and their stories are amazing. I love to swap stories and cultures and really do our best to understand each other. It is good for both of us when this can happen.

I think the idea of traveling with the locals or even other travellers, enhances the experience so much. One year ago I would have been scared to do this sort of thing, but now I couldn't imagine traveling any other way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to R&B, electronic, Country, Techno, basically anything I can sing or dance to.
I like either intellectual movies, RomComs, or Sci-Fi. also Reality television is my guilty pleasure.
Reading a book now called Quiet, and I know I want my next book to be Walden, but after that I’m not sure and are open to suggestions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a Tantric Yoga community for a month in France, and it had to be one of the most life changing experiences I have underwent. I met amazing people and I also got to meet myself which has been great.

Teach, Learn, Share

Of course I can teach English, and we can also struggle through Spanish or Portuguese together. I’m also going to attempt to Learn German, but it has been a slow start.

I’m pretty athletic and have always been into working out with correct form and technique which I would be happy to share. Also I recently got into Mixed Martial Arts, só if you want to know the basics of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or Muy Thai I can share that as well

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, or help cook either food from where I grew up (New Mexico) which actually is very cultural and you can’t find in many places in the US. And I would love to learn how you cook and what you eat as well. I can also share more about myself and my journey and views on life, maybe we can help each other out and really change each other, I’ve also discovered this that little things, things you don’t even notice you do can have a huge impact on someone without you even realizing it.

Countries I’ve Visited
