Overview
About Me
I met my girlfriend, Binghua Liu, at a couchsurfing meetup. Our goal is to travel to Asia from December 2018 to September 2019 and then live somewhere in Europe so she can get her Masters. We aim to meet as many people as possible while on this journey.
I was born in South Florida and moved to Orlando for university at UCF. I love to cook culturally diverse foods, workout, perform Japanese drumming (Taiko), drink cool craft beer, drink fancy coffee, acrobatic yoga, learn about different cultures, meet new people, and make lots of friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the international community you build through couchsurfing. Learning new cultures, languages, and walks of life, enlightens my own. I want to travel the world and having a local friend in each foreign place is the best way to experience a new place.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC:
Basically anything. I do not listen to American pop songs, so don't expect me to know what's popular. I like music in different languages or just no lyrics at all. Specifically: J-pop/rock, OST's, chill.
SHOWS:
Huge Anime fan, but have recently almost stopped watching it all together.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked about 60 miles on a 10 day backpacking trip in the Rocky Mountains for Philmont as part of the Boy Scouts of America. Hiking in mountains is my passion and each year I'm always climbing some new mountains.
I also hiked alone in Yosemite, climbing to below Half Dome and to the top of Yosemite Falls.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a graduate of University but a student of life. I'm always trying to better myself and learn new skills. Recently it is languages, acro yoga, taiko drumming.
