Overview
About Me
I am an energetic active person with a little bit of crazy. I'm an engineer; that describes about half of my personality. I find time for everything, but I fill my schedule so I rarely have any to spare. If there is an opportunity for fun or excitement I will take it! I love to fix things and solve problems, I like logic or skill games and enjoy everything from flip-cup to backgammon to card games.
If you stay with me I will work with my friends and knowledge of the city to ensure you have a good time. If I can I will show you around myself, or point you towards the right bus. I will let you know what I have time for before you come to stay with me so you can decide if I am the right host for you. If you just need a place to crash for the night I can do that too if you are clearly a regular couchsurfer, I do prefer to have a meal and be able to talk and hear stories from my guests though (multi-day stays are preferred).
I was off couchsurfing for a few years because of the pandemic and had disabled notifications. Ignore the lower response rate, as of May 2023 I will respond to everyone again within a day or two. (As you can see from my references, I am happy to host men and older travelers too since I know the sad reality is it can be harder to find a host.)
If I stay with you I will ensure I am courteous and respect your home. (If you have any broken faucets or other household items and can find me some tools I will probably fix that too if you let me)
I look forward to meeting many of you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Once I had my first house big enough to share with comfort I joined. I met some people that my friends hosted and it seemed like a great idea to join.
I also love to travel, meet people and hear new stories, it makes financial sense to do this via couch surfing and offer it in return.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm, up for learning anything. I'm the kind of person that picks up a little bit of everything from my adventures.
I'm the kid that asked a million questions when I was younger, and I'm now happy to be the one to answer any that I can, or try and look them up. I always have something to share, I'm just not sure what it would be... how to fix an engine, build a rocket or start a fire in torrential rain.
