About Me
Hey guys!
My name's Brandon, and like much of you i've found myself on the couchsurfing website because of my undying thirst and passion for adventure.
Growing up in a small, yet beautiful region of Canada, there wasn't many opportunities to expand ones mind other than adventuring into the woods, and exploring the nearest hiking getaways and ocean inlets.
That very taste of adventure led me to travel to Peru two years ago, to volunteer at an orphanage and to take part in some jungle conservation in the Amazon. After spending five short weeks there, it was with much regret that I had to return back to Newfoundland. Upon arriving back in Canada, I then began craving my next expedition to lands unknown, yet after much research and endless magazines and travel blogs, there wasn't another place on this planet that captured my heart as much as Peru, and I feel like my business there is unfinished.
That's why in fall of 2016 I plan to return to that sacred country and see what other glories await me in the land of the Inca.
With very little funds, I plan to do the trip on a strict shoestring budget and what better way to meet amazing locals than with the help of couchsurfing?
I hope to meet you soon, in Canada, Peru, and who knows where in between.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet and immerse myself in the culture of those receiving me. To learn and share languages, hobbies, crafts, and skills. To adventure with like-minded individuals, and to share my unique Newfoundland spirit and culture with the rest of the world.
