Overview
About Me
I grew up in Southern California on the beach and am a product of that environment. I love being outdoors; especially surfing and snowboarding. I currently live in Seattle and have become a frequent hiker and rock climber -- I live in a convenient place for that.
I traveled a lot as a kid and I suppose that's what has inspired me to keep trying to see the world. I've done a pretty good job so far but would love to continue this trend of seeing humanity's differences. Sorry if I sound cheesy :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always thought that meeting local people is one of the more fulfilling parts of traveling. Not to mention, a great way of finding the ins and outs of the city (and places to eat!!) Plus, some of my great friends have been met while on abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like music in a ton of genres but I'm really into Chon right now (kind of a prog rock/metal/jazz hybrid?)
I like adventure movies the most I think, things like LOTR. Love some thriller classics like Fight Club and Se7en too.
For fiction I like Vonnegut and Sci-Fi books (Dune, Ender's Game, Hyperion, etc..). Non-fiction I lean towards history/business/econ books and biographies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went surfing in Fiji at Cloud Break and lived to tell the tale. It was way too big for me but I went out anyway, oops.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - Whatever I know I'm happy to bestow upon others
Learn - I'd love to learn some phrases in your language, how to cook local dishes, and about anything you'd like to share.
