Overview
About Me
I'm from Newfoundland, Canada's most easterly province. I love everything to do with the outdoors and adventure. I just graduated with a B.Sc. in Biology and I plan to travel the world for the next few years before I decide what direction to go career wise.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing to travel and meet interesting, like minded people. Hoping to share some unique experiences and meet travel buddies to swap stories and advice. If any of my fellow surfers find there way in Newfoundland, I could provide them with an unforgettable adventure or two.

Philosophy
I am interested in anything people are passionate about, and spend the time to teach me.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like everything from instrumentals and electronic to classical and jazz.
Books: I tend to only read nonfiction. The Book, Mastery, Flow, The Consuming Instinct, Ants, The Selfish Gene, A Small History Of Everything, The Doors of Perception, Drugs, Sex at Dawn.
Movies: Encounters at the End of the World, Shawshank Redemption, Oceans, Blue Planet, Grizzly Man, Law Abiding Citizen, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, DMT the Spirit Molecule, The Culture High.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skipping things I've done that I wouldn't want my mother to see on the Internet:
Took a tour across Iceland, hiking and climbing glaciers, seeing waterfalls, geysers, caves, wild horses, black beaches, ferrie graves, volcanoes, geothermal hotsprings and every other geological wonder you could imagine.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play guitar, jam, survive in the wild. I'm a competitive Powerlifter and bodybuilder so if you want to learn about health, getting stronger or in better shape I can spread some knowledge. I could talk for hours about nature and psychology, and I'm always up for a good discussion.
I love to learn, and I jump at the chance to absorb information in areas I am unfamiliar in.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer good conversation, I can teach you things about music, exercise, and science, and I'm always up for an adventure. If the risk versus reward works out, the answer is always yes.
