Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga (USA) and blessed to travel the world! I’ve been a Vegan since 2008, became a minimalist 4 years ago before I even knew of the term and absolutely love to travel having been to 5 out of the 7 continents so far. I am a firm believer in being very clean and tidy (check out my bedroom pics). My friends, collogues and associates have told me that I’m an easy-going person and easy to get along with, I guess lol. I value good hygiene and habitually tend to it on a daily basis. I love to explore new things and places however, I proceed with wisdom in each situation. I see myself as a very considerate, loyal, caring, compassionate, emphatic and kind individual. I absolutely love to laugh and explore the appropriate humor in everything. In addition, I’d like to think that I have good cross-cultural diplomacy skills even in situations where others may seem biased. I understand people have their shortcomings etc. and so do societies. However, I am a guest in your home and a guest in your country so I will appreciate that and not pass any judgements. As of now I’m just a traveler and not a host however, I plan on hosting other couch surfers as soon as I get my first apartment abroad. I believe in the old adage/social principle of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. Hopefully, when I begin hosting others that gets reciprocated. I will be the traveler that I would want staying in my home. With that said I’m not perfect and may not be aware of all the customs of the cultures that I visit. So please give me feedback the moment I make any mistake so that I can correct it and I’ll greatly appreciate that opportunity to grow into and gain universal experience. I really look forward to meeting you and building a wonderful friendship!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I absolutely love the opportunity to make valuable connections with people that I would never meet by staying at a hotel, B&B or hostel. It is an honor to be accepted into someone else’s personal space. I believe that couch surfing is a wonderful privilege and gift to be cherished. This is something that I’m very conscious of, appreciate and respect. I understand that every host has different boundaries that are to be respected. With that said I will respect and treat your home and its belongings as my own being a convenience instead of an inconvenience. It’s your space/your rules and I’m a guest who is privileged to partake in it! I was raised with the value of leaving something better than you found it. There is an inexplicable beauty in traveling that is life enhancing to anyone blessed to experience it! People are a major part of this experience. The diversity of cultures is one of the crowned jewels this world has to offer. It’s very rewarding to find the beauty that lies inherent in every culture no matter how different it may seem. In most cases what initially seem to be differences are actually just uniquely beautiful branches of the same tree. In short many of our differences are actually similarities that can give us a deeper appreciation for each other. In our differences lie our valuable perspectives that contribute to the wonderful tapestry that is humanity! I’m on couch surfing to get the most out of my experiences while traveling. My goal is to contribute to your home and leave each of my host with positive feelings about our awesome time together.
