Overview
About Me
I'm a 26 yr old university graduate and musician from Melbourne, Australia.
I generally have an easy-going nature and I'm not difficult to get along with. I try my best to see the amusing side of things and create lasting memories
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was recommended Couchsurfing by friends, not just once but many, many times. Hearing positive story after positive story eventually made me decide I should also become involved so as to not miss out on any fantastic experiences!
It seems to be a great and vibrant community for all people who are fond of travel, and it is a terrific way to be introduced to new people from all over the world.
Interests
I'm really interested in music. Having played in bands and written/recorded music as a hobby for quite some time now, it's something I really like to spend my time on- to create, listen to or even just as a way to relax.
Travel of course! Like most people on couchsurfing, I'm really a fan of travel. New places, people and different cultures are something that interests me a lot and I have a bad (or good) habit of asking a lot of questions relating to history or culture to people I meet from various countries.
Sport! I'm a big lover of sport even though there's many codes I don't regularly spectate or haven't played. But even so it's a great spectacle and something that interests me greatly. If you are ever visiting Melbourne- it is a sporting city through and through, and you can be sure I'd be recommending you to get along to one event or another!
Among other things, I'm also interested in the media, politics, history, and generally how people in the world interact with each other.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Starting a band with four of my best friends at age 16 when none of us could play an instrument. The process of learning music became an unforgettable adventure with highs and lows, and created so many fond memories in doing something that was both constructive and creative.
A very large part of why I have such a passion for music now stems from those very early months, in what should be a very frustrating and difficult process of trying to become competent with music, instead was filled with laughter, good times and continual encouragement.
It's not always about what you do, but WHO you do it with. Make sure you surround yourself with the right kind of people!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer my company- and plenty of ridiculous stories about situations I've found myself in over the years. Hopefully a few laughs and a good time.
I love to play guitar, and all things music related- so if it's within my ability to do so, I would be happy to share what I know.
Also while travelling people often like to ask questions about Australia, while I'm definitely not an expert on what is such a broad topic, there are areas I have some decent knowledge about and you can feel free to fire away!
