I’d be lying if I didn’t say I first made an account with the intent of saving money but since I’ve experienced the app and stayed with some remarkable hosts on my travels I’ve come to realize the interactions and connections made with new people is just as important as seeing these new places I travel to.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Hip-Hop is the favorite but I also like Funk, Soul, some R&B, alternative rock, reggae , some electronic music. I despise country tho...to each their own. Some personal favorites are Lupe Fiasco, Kendrick Lamar, MF Doom, Mos Def, Bill Withers, Nina Simone, Linkin Park, Bob Marley.

I love me a comedy film and if it has Will Ferrell in it that’s even better. I enjoy dramas, based on true stories, documentaries...love a film portraying the human will and spirit like The Grey or Revenant.

Am an avid reader. I like to read with a purpose so I tend to read non-fiction more...just to explore topics I have an interest in. I really enjoy books about psychology but also read a lot of history books and (auto)biographies. Some favorite fiction books are The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings and then there’s also a historical fiction author Conn Iggulden that I really like, pretty much read all his work.

I know a little about a lot which isn’t necessarily helpful but hey, I try to listen more than I talk especially if I’m not informed enough on a topic to have a good opinion. I can talk your ear off about the NBA or Hip-Hop though, you’ve been warned...don’t get me started on either haha.
