I am a librarian by trade and an adventurer by nature.

Spend my free time hiking, backpacking, snorkeling, and occasionally caving. Active member of a couple of hiking groups here on Oahu as well as the HawaiianGrotto (of the NSS).

Willing to host travelers from around the Indo-Pacific and Northern Europe for up to three nights. The catch is that i only accept travelers that are willing return the favor with three nights at their home!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had one friend travel the world who frequently couchsurfs (she has made some really great friends) and another friend that frequently has couchsurfing guests in her home (and has interesting stories to show for it).

Decent cook, but will definitely buy you dinner! Also, i thoroughly research hikes and other other outdoor treks - so I would be glad to take you along on an epic hike or caving trip in your locale.
