About Me

Hey there surfers, my name is Brandon and I just moved to Riyadh from Curacao. I loved hosting people on the island and hopefully I can make some surfer friends in KSA too! Don't hesitate to ask me for any tips or hit me up for a place to crash! I love getting to meet new people and always enjoy sharing my favorite spots, cooking people dinner, and making great adventure friends.

So far I've been lucky enough to have had the best guests ever and have met up with two of my couch surfers later on in their travels which is always a rad experience.

Interests

I'm always up for something new!

I'm really active outdoors; I climb, mountaineer, backpack, dive, spearfish, LOVE food and cooking, am obsessed with music, play guitar, SUP, mountain bike, kayak, travel often, and have a gloriously dark sense of humor.

Music, Movies, and Books

If you love music I will definitely like you. My life revolves around it 😁. Feel free to browse my Spotify playlists! I make new ones pretty often.

I also read a ton, mostly sci-fi, my favorite books are Speaker for the Dead and The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet.

Big movie fan as well, especially animated films like Bolt or Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. My favorite of all time is Garden State.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I actively volunteer for disaster relief and my first deployment in the Army years ago was to Haiti where I lived for 3 months right after the earthquake helping the people. The most amazing thing I've seen is how kind and generous people are all over the world, everywhere I go, no matter their situation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Really shitty jokes, amazing home cooked meals, fully stocked liquor cabinet, all of my island secrets.

Countries I’ve Visited
