ABOUT ME

Hey, not really good at summing myself up but whatever.

I’m a 22 year old Canadian student studying physics and engineering, and am currently living and working in Stuttgart. I’m here for 8 months (Until the end of December) and am hoping to travel as much as I can in that period of time! I’ve never really had the opportunity to travel around Europe before, so I’m trying to make the most out of the short time I have here. I’m really easy going and love to meet new people and listen to the stories they have to share!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to surf at different places whenever I get a chance. It's so much better than staying at a hotel since you get to meet great people who know the area, and who can show you around and share stories with.

I also may be able to host someone, depends on a lot of factors but no harm in sending a request my way! =D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far my CouchSurfing has been awesome. I'm still pretty new to it but I'm having a ton of fun! I haven't hosted anyone yet, but I definitely want to try it sometime!

Interests

I like to do quite a few things, but currently traveling is my number one interest. Getting to see so many different cities and meet so many great people is such an awesome experience.

I've also recently taken a liking to hiking! The views you get are just incredible and it's always nice and peaceful walking through the wilderness.

Other interests: Sports (Mainly hockey or baseball), movies, music, science, swimming.

Oh, and I absolutely love to eat, especially local foods. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love to watch movies! My Netflix subscription has really paid itself off with me. I also enjoy listening to music, mostly do so when I'm working or studying as it helps me focus. I really wish I had more time to read, but with my normal schedule at school being so busy I just don't get the chance to read to much. Getting down to specifics:

Favourite movie: Apocalypse Now - Such a good, long movie, with great characters. And of course it has a funny side at points. Charlie don't surf!

Favourite TV series: Breaking Bad - I don't honestly know what to say about this show, I could talk for hours and hours and hours.

Favourite album: Animals - Pink Floyd - Hard to pick a favourite Pink Floyd album, but this one has some amazing guitar solos!

Favourite book (Short story): The Last Question - Isaac Asimov - Please just read this, such a cool story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say that what I'm doing now is the most amazing thing I have done. Being able to travel around all of Europe for 8 months, while completing an internship in a field I truly enjoy is just awesome.

I guess I could teach you about physics or something... I am in the process of learning German, so any help with that is awesome!
