Overview
About Me
I've spent several years in the Air Force. I've had the opportunity to travel to and live in places I'd never think I'd be. I'm recently separated and now have the opportunity to explore my personal interests and destinations.
I like to keep up with daily news of all sorts, esp from the U.K. based The Daily Mail to get a full spread of happenings. I enjoy sitcoms and late night TV shows for their goofy and quirky humor. Ice hockey is my current passion, participating in near daily sessions for practice and play. I find the sport to be physically and creatively challenging, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow players. If I'm not playing, I attend public skate sessions to keep my blood flowing and the wind in my hair.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I first heard of it, I found it a very intriguing idea to explore the world and meet new people. I would consider it a valuable asset if/when I get to travel Europe. I made friends with someone I recently lived with doing Airbnb, and he introduced and helped me sign up for Couchsurfing, telling me about his own experience.

Ice hockey, ice skating, any winter activities really. Being able to see and explore different places, nature, getting out there in the world. Arts and crafts, piano. Reading news for a wide variety of topics and interesting things.

Music, Movies, and Books

80's music & bands such as Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Lita Ford, the list goes on. Other musical genres are good too.
TV & Movies:
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, GATTACA, Start Trek series, Travel Channel, Seinfeld, Rules of Engagement, and more.
Books:
Those written by Isaac Asimov.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned how to ride a motorcycle. After much, much riding and practice over a few months, I was able to bring it onto the race track for a track day to really carve up the asphalt.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm open to learning anything. I'd love to explore more of the outdoors and related activities. I've learned how to apply theatre-grade Halloween make-up and prosthetics. I did 3 costumes the past year as Jack Skellington, Ron Swanson, and Maurice from the movie "Little Monsters."
What I Can Share with Hosts
A beer if you'd like.
